Our Leadership

Meet our pastoral and support team.

Jeremy DeGroot

Lead Pastor

Pastor Jeremy DeGroot has been serving in ministry for over 15 years. First, as a bi-vocational youth pastor, children's pastor, and worship pastor while serving as a history teacher in public education. He has served as a pastor in the suburbs of Chicago, Tyrone, Georgia, and now as a lead pastor in Siloam Springs. He loves studying and discussing apologetics and Christian history. His favorite topics for preaching include the identity of believers in new creation life, the victorious Christ, and equipping the church to live out its mission.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time and going on hikes with his family (wife, Samantha and kids - Sophie, Toby, and Kenzie). Pastor Jeremy is an avid runner and 80's baseball card collector. Currently, he plays guitar and sings in a band formed with his son, Toby, called Oxbows & Architects.

Duncan Locke

Associate Pastor of Administration and Pastoral Care

Pastor Duncan Locke was called to vocational ministry after 15 years in the business world. When the Spirit conveyed His direction, he enrolled in Seminary while accepting the positions of Minister to Singles, Seniors, and Children at his home church in GA. After 5 years of ministry and completion of a M.Div. degree in pastoral studies, God called him to a senior pastorate position in IL. During this 14 year pastorate, Duncan discovered great fulfillment in all the varied aspects of pastoring from preaching/teaching to administration/formation to counseling/missions. He and his wife returned to GA to support family and served as senior pastor FBC Tyrone for 7 years.

Duncan’s call to FBC Siloam Springs anticipates a focus of his energies in administration and pastoral care. Strengthening Christ’s body through teaching, counseling, and ministry-based administration is aimed to help all Believers find their acceptance in God’s grace, find their place in meaningful ministry, and find their new lives in the Holy Spirit’s loving presence and transform-ative work. Duncan and Lynda raised two glorious girls and rave about 5 grandchildren. They enjoy good food and friends, “Jesus-talk”, new adventures, pool & beach-time, and everything to do with family.

Bobby & StepH Martin

Worship Ministers

We’re Bobby and Steph Martin - Worship Ministers at FBC Siloam. We’ve played music together for a long time – in bands, in church, and sometimes just because we enjoy it so much! Our goal is to use our gifts to help others focus on worshiping our Amazing God and to draw people closer to Him. We are so blessed to be able to do this at FBC Siloam! Bobby is an artist and art professor at JBU, and Steph can usually be found crafting, baking or spending time with grandkids.

Lisa Conley

Minister of Children

Lisa and her family have been a part of FBC Siloam Springs since they moved here from Wisconsin in 2015. Lisa and her husband, Jason, have been married for 25 years and have 4 children: Tim, Jake, Shayla, and Lexi. They also have 2 sweet tuxedo cats named Cupcake and Sprinkles. Lisa loves sharing Bible truths with kids of all ages and her favorite part of ministry is when the lightbulb goes off and they start to understand just how amazing God is. Watching them grow in their relationship with God is the absolute best. Outside of ministry, Lisa enjoys running, music, crafts, gardening, and photography. As a family they love hiking and exploring new places together.

Tim Conley

Minister of Youth/Director of Facilities

Tim has been at FBC Siloam Springs since 2015 and has been leading our youth since the summer of 2020. He and his wife Bethany love having the privilege of pouring into students and witnessing the growth in their spiritual lives! In his free time, Tim loves exploring nature, playing guitar, and watching basketball.

Joan Hubbard

TenderCare Preschool Director

Joan has been the director of TenderCare Preschool since its inception. She has a heart for seeing developmental and spiritual growth in her students.

Samantha DeGroot

Connections Coordinator

Samantha is instrumental in connections in the church: email, announcements, bulletins, and ensuring our First Impressions team is ready to go each Sunday. She also leads our women's ministry team. She homeschools her and Pastor Jeremy's three children. Samantha is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family in the fresh Arkansas air.

Mel Phillips

Choir Director

Mel leads our adult choir which sings once a month on Sunday mornings. He has been in music and choir ministry along with his wife, Jan, serving the church faithfully at churches in New Mexico and Georgia.

Please contact the church office to get in touch with Mel.
